A Microsoft Corporation Case Study
BASF, one of the world’s largest chemical producers, needed a way to support secure, agile collaboration for 122,000 employees spread across more than 90 countries and time zones. The company also had to protect sensitive intellectual property while enabling mobile work, faster teamwork, and better communication across its global workforce. Microsoft Corporation provided Microsoft 365, along with tools such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Intune, to help BASF modernize how people connect and share information.
With Microsoft Corporation’s Microsoft 365 platform, BASF implemented secure collaboration, device management, and mixed reality support through Teams, Intune, HoloLens, Planner, and Stream. The results included highly secure access to information on nearly 50,000 mobile devices, faster troubleshooting and design work, reduced meeting and travel time, and more transparent global teamwork. BASF also reported improved productivity, easier sharing of knowledge, and the ability to reduce time to market for new ideas and products.
