Bahrain Polytechnic, an educational institution in Bahrain, wanted to simplify and make its helpdesk operations more efficient to better support its 3,000 students and teachers. To address the challenge of managing a wide range of IT requests with a small team, they turned to Microsoft and its System Center 2012 R2 Data Center product.
Microsoft System Center automated the polytechnic’s IT processes, which included software deployment and helpdesk management. This allowed the ICTS team to create custom workflows and a service catalog, leading to faster resolution times and unambiguous request handling. The solution resulted in an annual helpdesk saving of $25,000 and significantly strengthened the institution's innovative digital learning environment.
