B. Braun migrates 34,000 employees in 60+ countries to Microsoft 365 with Microsoft FastTrack

B. Braun Médical, a global medical-products manufacturer, needed a modern workplace to improve collaboration across a widely distributed workforce while retiring an aging Lotus Notes environment. Migrating 34,000 employees in more than 60 countries to Microsoft 365, with help from Microsoft Corporation and partner Avanade, was a major challenge due to global scale, compliance needs, and IT complexity.

Microsoft Corporation used Microsoft FastTrack, along with Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Office 365 ProPlus, and Azure Information Protection, to manage the rollout. The migration was completed smoothly in about eight months, with no escalations or complaints, improved cross-border collaboration, and fewer support issues; B. Braun Médical also reported faster teamwork and strong user adoption across the organization.
