Tata Communications, a large enterprise facing the security and performance risks of transferring data over the public internet for its hybrid cloud operations, needed a more secure and reliable solution. Partnering with Microsoft, they sought to overcome the challenges of network vulnerability and the lack of a true hybrid cloud to protect critical enterprise data.

Microsoft, in partnership with Tata Communications, implemented a solution combining Azure ExpressRoute with the IZO Private Connect MPLS network. This created a private, high-throughput connection between on-premises infrastructure and the Azure cloud, eliminating exposure to the public internet. The results included enhanced security, predictable 100% network availability, high-speed performance up to 100 Mbps, and a simplified global network, allowing businesses to securely move mission-critical workloads to the cloud.
