Case Study: ASICS achieves secure, mobile workplace productivity with Microsoft Corporation

ASICS EMEA hits the ground running with cloud-based mobility solution

ASICS, the global sportswear company, needed a secure way to give 1,500 EMEA employees mobile access to email and documents from any device while simplifying IT management. To support its “Modern Workplace” goals, ASICS worked with Microsoft Corporation and its Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) and Azure cloud platform to standardize identity, device, and data access across the region.

Microsoft Corporation implemented EMS components including Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Azure Information Protection, along with Surface devices running Windows 10 and cloud storage in SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. The result was a major mobility and security upgrade: enrolled devices grew from 150 to about 1,140 in six months, 1,150 EMS licenses were deployed, and ASICS gained stronger protection for sensitive data, simpler self-service access, and a more productive, flexible workplace.
