Alterway, an innovative French enterprise specializing in web services and open source hosting, sought to help its clients with their digital transformation by reinforcing the governance, control, and security of their web environments while taking advantage of the cloud with open source stacks. To address this challenge, Alterway partnered with Microsoft and its Azure cloud platform.

Microsoft Azure provided a mature, open solution that supports numerous Linux distributions and web technologies. This partnership allowed Alterway to develop a range of services for its clients, simplifying the management of heterogeneous environments and providing fast, secure, and scalable cloud access. As a result of the solution, Alterway successfully assists over a dozen clients on Azure and was recognized with the 2015 Open Source on Microsoft Azure Partner of the Year award.
