Aegon Life Insurance Company Limited, a leading insurance provider in India, needed a modern way to connect its dispersed field workforce and simplify IT management while improving security and access to business applications. With Microsoft Corporation Azure and Remote Desktop Services, the company aimed to move away from manually maintained user desktops and centralized data risks.

Microsoft Corporation, working with Embee Software, implemented a virtual desktop interface on Azure with centralized user profiles, MFA, high availability, and secure remote access for Windows-based thin clients and laptops. The result was a 23% cost reduction, onboarding and app access time cut from 24 hours to under 30 minutes, and a rollout to 26 locations and more than 900 employees in under three months.
