Bonava, a leading Northern European housing developer that has built more than 34,000 homes, faced a high‑stakes IT challenge when it was spun off from its parent and given nine months to recreate its entire infrastructure. The company needed a mobile‑first, cloud‑first environment to support roughly 2,000 users, 250 temporary job sites and growing regional offices, while meeting security, collaboration and regulatory requirements across multiple countries.

Working with Avanade and Microsoft, Bonava deployed Secure Productive Enterprise—Office 365, Windows 10 Enterprise and Microsoft EMS—on Microsoft Azure, modernizing apps and migrating 21 on‑premises applications to SaaS in nine months and now running 30+ cloud apps. Azure AD Premium provides multifactor and conditional access, remote sites operate without local networks, and tools like SharePoint and Autodesk in the cloud sped collaboration and shortened design‑and‑construction timelines, delivering simplified management, cost savings and secure, scalable growth.
