Vetco Clinics, a Petco subsidiary that delivers affordable vaccinations and preventive care in roughly 1,200 stores, faced slow, paper-based customer intake that caused long lines, lost customers, and limited ability to build long-term relationships. After failing to find a suitable off‑the‑shelf product, Vetco needed a digital backbone to capture patient and customer data, streamline workflows, and support growth.

Working with Tribridge and United Data Technologies, Vetco built PetPass — a web-based CRM and electronic medical record system hosted on Microsoft Azure and delivered to greeters on tablets. PetPass captures and autofills customer and pet data, provides estimated wait times and text notifications, records clinical details, and emails invoices and certifications. Running on Azure with Azure AD and Intune for security and device management, the solution eliminated paper intake, sped service, improved data accuracy, scaled for spiky demand, ensured high availability, and positioned Vetco to integrate with Petco and third-party partners while strengthening customer loyalty.
