ATB Market, Ukraine’s largest and fastest‑growing discount retail chain with more than 1,200 stores and nearly 4,000 SKUs, faced a major information problem: store managers were buried in static reports and emails and lacked timely, local insights into category performance (for example bakery during holidays), product losses, cashier efficiency, new assortments, and period comparisons.
Working with SMART business, ATB consolidated ERP and database feeds on Azure and deployed Power BI Embedded dashboards that show shoppers, historical sales, electricity usage, forecasts and target comparisons. The rollout to all stores (and expansion into Purchasing and Service Desk) cut report‑generation time by at least half, reduced costs by five to six times versus the previous solution, improved reporting flexibility and promotion execution, and delivered accurate central visibility into product losses and sales deviations.
