Ukraine’s Raiffeisen Bank Aval reshapes 2.5 million customers’ experience with Microsoft cloud solutions

Raiffeisen Bank Aval, Ukraine’s third-largest bank, wanted to improve internal collaboration for 6,500 employees and create a more connected customer experience for its 2.5 million customers. With Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 already in use, the bank needed a secure, centralized platform that could handle strict cloud compliance requirements while better managing communications, processes, and customer engagement.

Microsoft Azure, together with Dynamics 365 Marketing and partner SMART business, helped Raiffeisen Bank Aval build an Azure-based loyalty and marketing platform that analyzes customer data in real time and orchestrates communication across email, the mobile app, and Viber. The results included a 15% increase in customers consenting to marketing communications and 10% month-to-month growth in loyalty program involvement, all without additional advertising.
