TruGreen’s new take on technology—a catalyst for greener lawns and happier customers

TruGreen, the largest US lawn care company, was undertaking a broad digital transformation and needed a way to improve self-service, customer engagement, and internal efficiency without adding excessive time, cost, or complexity. Working with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power Platform tools, TruGreen sought to connect its customer journey, modernize service, and better support customers and associates with AI-driven capabilities.

Microsoft Azure helped TruGreen build an AI-enabled virtual agent, add image recognition to its mobile app, and orchestrate workflows with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. The prototypes were built quickly, including one in just two days with no code, and enabled more proactive, predictive service while freeing employees for higher-value work; TruGreen is now rolling these capabilities into its website and app.
