Novari Health worked with healthcare leaders in Ontario’s North West region to address long referral and surgical wait times, complex paper-based processes, and difficult travel burdens for patients across a vast rural area. Using Microsoft Azure-powered Novari Access to Care software, the region sought a more efficient way to manage referrals, triage patients, and improve access to care.

Novari Health, built on Microsoft Azure, implemented a centralized, cloud-based intake and referral platform that connected existing hospital systems, automated triage, and enabled virtual visits and better wait-list management. The results included consultation wait times dropping to under four weeks, 2,500 virtual visits completed, fewer administrative errors, and more efficient operating room scheduling, while improving convenience and care close to home.
