A Microsoft Azure Case Study
Sundyne (part of Accudyne Industries) is a Colorado‑based maker of custom integrally geared pumps and compressors used in oil, gas, water and chemical plants worldwide. With 800+ employees, operations in multiple countries, and sales handled largely through 300+ channel partners across 117 countries, the company’s consolidation under Accudyne exposed fragmented sales, service and manufacturing workflows and long, multi‑year project cycles that required a centralized, standardized IT backbone.
Sundyne migrated to the Microsoft Cloud—deploying Dynamics 365 for Customer Service/CRM Online, Office 365, SharePoint Online, Azure and SQL Server with partner Ledgeview—to create a single repository, automate workflows and enable real‑time dashboards. The change reduced on‑premises infrastructure, improved global coordination and service case tracking, and dramatically increased sales visibility and forecasting (forecasted pipeline coverage rose from 18% to 87% in months and grew 345% in the first year), delivering a more agile, customer‑centric global business.
