Startup streamlines system log analysis, accelerates business growth using Microsoft Azure

LogDNA is a Mountain View startup born out of Y Combinator that set out to build a cloud-based log-management system to help engineers quickly identify, resolve, and prevent production software issues. After pivoting from its original idea, the company needed a scalable, global infrastructure and advanced tooling to consolidate and analyze logs from many servers in real time.

LogDNA moved from AWS to Microsoft Azure with help from the Microsoft for Startups team, using Azure’s scaling and machine-learning capabilities to centralize logs, provide powerful search and filtering, and deploy clusters around the world. The result: LogDNA now processes billions of events and terabytes of log data daily for more than 2,000 customers, accelerating troubleshooting and enabling rapid business growth.
