XOS Digital, a sports-technology provider used by more than 400 teams (including 22 of 32 NFL clubs), faced a paper- and DVD-heavy workflow: slow film turnaround, manual note-taking, bulky draft boards, limited storage and poor portability that made recruiting and game analysis time-consuming and error-prone.

By moving its ThunderCloud platform to Microsoft Azure and integrating Surface tablets, OneNote and Perceptive Pixel touch devices, XOS created an end‑to‑end digital workflow. Games are available minutes after play and full HD uploads within hours, teams store terabytes of footage in Azure, coaches and analysts work on synced OneNote notebooks on Surface devices, productivity increased (reducing laptops and saving travel‑day hours), and recruiting output jumped dramatically (one team went from ~10 to nearly 300 highlight tapes per week).
