Case Study: STANLEY Healthcare achieves enterprise‑caliber SaaS asset analytics for small hospitals with Microsoft Azure

A Microsoft Azure Case Study

Preview of the STANLEY Healthcare Case Study

Small hospitals gain access to enterprise-caliber asset management software using a SaaS cloud model

STANLEY Healthcare, part of Stanley Black & Decker, provides asset‑tracking and workflow optimization software to thousands of hospitals and senior‑care facilities. Its MobileView Analytics product turned vast IoT asset data into actionable dashboards, but the heavy infrastructure and maintenance costs of the on‑premises analytics stack limited adoption to large hospitals and left many customers unable to extract timely insights.

To solve that, STANLEY built MobileView Analytics Cloud on Microsoft Azure using Linux, Azure PaaS and IaaS services and open‑source DevOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Kafka, Tableau, Azure SQL, Azure Security Center, etc.). Offering analytics as a secure SaaS subscription lets customers deploy in as little as 24 hours with no local IT burden, enables rapid monthly feature releases, elastic on‑demand compute for complex analyses, and easy global expansion via Azure datacenters—significantly expanding market reach and revenue potential.
