SitePro needed a way to manage real-time telemetry from hundreds of thousands of sensors while also pulling in weather and other external data, generating reports, and keeping communications and analytics running without congestion. Using Microsoft Azure, SitePro relied on Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Cache for Redis to support its high-throughput, low-latency data architecture.

Microsoft Azure implemented a scalable solution that connected multiple web jobs and app services to process change feeds, store data, and deliver real-time IoT, analytics, reporting, and camera streaming capabilities. The result was no congestion between Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Cache for Redis, plus high app performance, instant efficiency insights worldwide, improved equipment utilization, higher asset productivity, and better employee productivity.
