Preview of the Saudi Airlines Catering Company Case Study

Saudi Airlines catering and services company accelerates its business by moving to the cloud

Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC), a major provider of in‑flight catering and related services in Saudi Arabia with annual turnover of SAR 2.6 billion, faced a fragmented IT environment that slowed its response to business needs and left it without a centralized disaster‑recovery platform. With plans to support growth and introduce cloud-based business intelligence, SACC set out to modernize its data center and move key services to the cloud.

Working with Microsoft and partners, SACC migrated about 1,000 email users to Exchange Online, rolled out Office 365 to roughly 900 devices, hosted its Linux/PHP website and real‑time backups on Azure, and began deploying a hybrid cloud HR and finance platform. The move delivered easier collaboration, operational efficiencies, reduced costs, unified communications and stronger business continuity — outcomes the company says have exceeded expectations.
