Rabobank, the second-largest bank in the Netherlands, needed a secure way to streamline internal processes and support a broader digital transformation across its global workforce. As it moved legacy systems to the cloud, it also faced fragmented, on-premises app development and a growing need to automate complex business processes, including internal HR and workplace workflows. Rabobank adopted Microsoft Azure-based Power Platform tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate to create a more modern, controlled development approach.

Using Microsoft Azure, Rabobank implemented a tiered Power Platform model with strong governance, plus apps for environment management, ALM, and process automation. The result was more than 2,500 Power Apps and Power Automate solutions in use, with 55% of the organization using a Power Platform solution. One reorganization app, R@pp, cut analysis time from three weeks to three minutes and achieved 99.1% placement accuracy, while Microsoft Azure integration also improved visibility, compliance, and developer productivity.
