Professional sports team wins with ERP software and analytics solution using Microsoft Dynamics GP on Microsoft Azure

Georgia Swarm Lacrosse, a small professional indoor lacrosse team in the U.S., needed to replace legacy accounting software that couldn’t deliver the customized analytics or integrated financial reporting required to manage ticket sales, player salaries, travel costs and payroll. With their old system being phased out, the team needed a more agile way to analyze per-player and per-game costs and to improve fan outreach and operational efficiency.

Working with partner InterDyn, Swarm implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP on Microsoft Azure (using Dimensions) and integrated Microsoft tools like Office 365. The cloud-hosted ERP gave them an easy-to-manage infrastructure, a single customer data repository, automated enrollment, better sales tracking and the ability to analyze costs and revenues at a granular level—resulting in smoother operations, improved visibility for planning and early efficiency gains.
