Infiniti Segments Ltd, a Nigerian ISV founded in 1999, provides revenue-collection systems to state governments but struggled with on-premise infrastructure, power outages and limited availability that forced citizens to travel to pay taxes. The company needed a secure, user-friendly, 24/7 platform that could scale to serve multiple states and improve collection rates.

After signing an Enterprise Agreement and moving its platform to Microsoft Azure (with SQL Server and .NET), Infiniti eliminated heavy capital expenditure and IT administration, gained on-demand scalability and improved uptime. The move helped boost sales roughly 50×, enabled one state’s collections to grow from about 300 million to 30 billion naira, cut operating costs, and opened the door to advanced services like analytics and biometric-enabled taxation.
