NASCAR Partners with Microsoft Services to Set the Pace with Race Management App

NASCAR, the premier stock-car racing organization, needed to unify its disparate race-control systems so officials could monitor and manage every race in real time while keeping events entertaining, fair, and safe. The fast-paced environment and dozens of data sources made it difficult to make quick, consistent decisions and to surface new safety and fan-engagement opportunities.

Working with Microsoft Services, NASCAR deployed a Windows 10–based race management app running on Surface Pro 4 devices and backed by Azure and Microsoft consulting for devices and mobility. The single-interface solution gives officials a unified view of race activity, enabling faster, better decisions, fostering safety innovation, and creating new ways to engage fans while supporting NASCAR’s high-speed operations.
