Microsoft cloud accelerates global expansion for Vietnamese digital content provider

VTC Intecom is Vietnam’s leading mobile digital content and e-payments company (products include VTC Pay, online and mobile games, and the VTC 365 portal), with about 1,500 employees and a nationwide distribution across 63 provinces. As it targeted expansion into foreign markets, the company faced high capital and operating costs for building datacenters and international transmission lines, plus staffing and administrative burdens that threatened profitability and its ability to meet growing customer demand.

To overcome this, VTC Intecom deployed its cloud services on Microsoft Azure, gaining global availability, enterprise-grade security (ISO/IEC 27001), and local Microsoft support. The move eliminated heavy infrastructure investment, cut infrastructure and operations costs by about 60%, enabled fast provisioning and simple onboarding, and allowed the company to fulfill 100% of international service requests while refocusing resources on core business activities.
