Microsoft Azure chosen to support the growth of KPMG in France

KPMG France, through its software subsidiary KTS, built Arpège Web Suite — a comprehensive SaaS accounting and tax platform developed in‑house (about 30 man‑years) and initially run on the group’s private cloud. Facing rapidly growing user numbers (5,000 today with a target of 50,000) and needing greater scalability, responsiveness and agility, KPMG sought a public cloud and PaaS approach to simplify operations, speed deployments and better support its open‑source stack.

KTS migrated Arpège Web Suite to Microsoft Azure, using Azure PaaS and Service Fabric alongside Office 365/SharePoint, Node.js and MongoDB, and completed the switchover in four months while automating deployments and elasticity. The move improved performance and productivity, enabled faster rollout of new services, unlocked new market opportunities (launched as Loop Software for VSBs/SMEs) and removed previous technical constraints on growth.
