Case Study: KPMG improves service delivery with Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service

A Microsoft Azure Case Study

Preview of the KPMG Case Study

KPMG Norway gains regulatory resiliency and operational flexibility with cloud strategy

KPMG is using Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service to strengthen its intelligent automation efforts and improve its service delivery model. The global tax team needed a more enterprise-ready AI solution to augment capabilities while maintaining strict governance, risk, and regulatory requirements, especially given the importance of accuracy and source traceability in tax and audit work.

Microsoft Azure implemented Azure OpenAI Service as a foundational layer for generative AI use cases across KPMG’s platforms, including Digital Gateway. The first use case helps identify and classify tax data for ESG taxes, improving data relationships, reducing risk, and increasing confidence in tax reporting; KPMG also reported demonstrable value on day one and a faster time to value than previous productivity solutions.
