KOT Insurance Company AG, a Swiss insurer operating under strict FINMA regulations, needed to address vulnerability concerns in its local data center hosting SAP systems while improving cost-efficiency, flexibility, and security. To support its SAP landscape, KOT Insurance selected Microsoft Azure with help from SoftwareOne.

Microsoft Azure enabled a lift-and-shift migration of SAP ERP to the cloud, including a database upgrade, new network design, and a Disaster Recovery plan. The project was completed in less than a month, and KOT Insurance reported reduced costs, improved resilience, security, and reliability, fewer SAP technical issues, and faster support response times for business-critical applications.
