Adept4 is a UK IT-as-a-service provider that moved from a traditional hosting model to managed cloud services to meet customer demand for greater speed, agility, and scalability. The company needed to shift customers and staff from on‑premises systems to cloud-hosted solutions while finding a profitable, repeatable way to scale its business.

Adept4 joined the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program and built managed services on Microsoft Azure—using Azure Site Recovery and a “try before you buy” trial to migrate and protect workloads, then productizing solutions from the Azure Marketplace. The change delivered rapid growth and improved margins: today the group serves ~800 customers, employs 100+ people, reports pro forma revenue above £10M, has converted 75% of trials to customers, and migrated roughly 40% of customer workloads to Azure.
