Fastmarkets, a global commodity data provider, needed to replace 14 separate websites and fragmented data systems with a single, integrated platform to improve customer experience, visibility into customer behavior, and operational agility. The company chose Microsoft Azure to support its cloud-native “Fusion” transformation, using Azure-based services to build a scalable, resilient foundation for delivering market pricing, news, analytics, and forecasts across multiple channels.

Using Microsoft Azure, Fastmarkets migrated legacy systems to the cloud and built Fusion with microservices, Azure Service Fabric, Azure App Insights, and other PaaS tools. The result was a seamless customer experience across desktop, browser, Excel, and mobile apps, stronger monitoring and resilience, and faster cloud adoption—estimated at up to 30% quicker—with outstanding customer feedback and improved scalability to support future growth.
