Wabtec Corporation’s Young Touchstone division, a manufacturer of heat-exchange and cooling systems, faced slow, error-prone sales processes because its custom sizing software was distributed on discs and ran only on desktops. Sales reps had to return to the office to complete quotes, updates and price changes were time-consuming, and remote access and security controls were limited.

Working with MPS Partners, Wabtec migrated the sizing application to Microsoft Azure (Cloud Services, SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory), turning it into a web-based, role-controlled solution accessible from any device. The move enabled self-service part selection, real-time updates and centralized management, improving data access, security and sales agility—changes that now take minutes instead of days and let sales teams respond to customers on the spot.
