Exquitech, a Lebanon-based Microsoft Cloud partner, launched IMHOTEP to tackle a clear gap in the local healthcare market: many clinics and doctors lacked up-to-date administration tools and basic IT infrastructure, leaving patient records paper-based and workflows inefficient. The company aimed to bring simple, secure digital patient administration to non‑computer‑savvy clinicians across specialties.

Exquitech delivered IMHOTEP as a web-hosted solution on Microsoft Azure, using Azure IaaS, Site Recovery and HIPAA-supporting security alongside open-source front-end technologies. The result: clinicians gained a practical electronic medical-record system with secure, locally perceived hosting, analytics and continuity features, faster product testing via BizSpark Plus, and measurable progress in customer adoption and business growth.
