First SAP on Azure Deployment South Africa

Collaborit, a South African asset-management provider, faced delays and poor service while hosting its development environment with a UK-based private provider—no direct server access, high user costs, and slow issue resolution. Working with Mint Management Technologies, Collaborit deployed SAP on Azure—the first such implementation in South Africa—gaining immediate benefits: roughly 50% initial cost savings, improved uptime, better performance, full control of the landscape, and easy up/down scaling. The move also unlocked integration with advanced Azure services (IoT, big data, AI), stronger security and local datacenters, positioning SAP+Azure as a viable, innovative cloud option across the region.
