Financial Company Launches Its Digital Channel in Microsoft’s Cloud

Intermex Wire Transfer, a U.S.-based remittance specialist with 23 years’ experience and more than 55,000 payer locations serving 17 Latin American countries, needed a flexible, scalable and secure infrastructure to launch a new digital portal for U.S. customers. Executives determined on‑premises servers would struggle to meet tight timelines, variable demand and security requirements, so they looked to the cloud to accelerate deployment and improve service.

Working with partner TPS S.A., Intermex launched a responsive, multi‑language site on Microsoft Azure using App Services, SQL Database, Azure Service Bus, Redis Cache and VPN Gateway to automate configuration, security, load balancing and monitoring while enabling secure messaging and shared sessions. The move delivered faster rollout, improved reliability and security for online transfers to Latin America, and a scalable platform to support future growth and better customer service.
