EY India needed a scalable, secure way to support DigiGST®, its GST compliance solution, after India introduced major tax reforms. Using Microsoft Azure, EY built a platform to manage high-volume tax workloads, protect sensitive client data, and adapt quickly to changing GST requirements.

Microsoft Azure powered DigiGST with cloud services including Azure HDInsight and Azure SQL Database, along with other Azure components for processing, storage, and analytics. The result was a fast, reliable, and flexible solution that handled large data volumes and accounted for 28% of transactions routed through all GSPs, while EY India also submitted more than USD 40 million in invoices for 800 clients.
