Eni quickly delivers business applications using Azure Kubernetes Service

Eni SpA needed a cloud service that would let it avoid Kubernetes vendor lock-in while speeding up project onboarding so developers could start work immediately. To meet this goal, the company looked to Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) as part of a hybrid platform combining on-premises Kubernetes with cloud-based infrastructure.

Using Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service, Eni implemented an infrastructure-as-code approach with Terraform and Azure, supported by open-source tools. The result was faster container deployment without managing VMs, storage, or networking manually, plus native cloud speed with enterprise-grade controls and configurations stored and enforced through code.
