Ecosoft, a Ukraine-based manufacturer of water purification equipment with about 400 employees and a presence in over 50 countries, faced the challenge of reinventing how it sells and distributes water. The company needed real-time, granular visibility into where its dispensers were and how they were used so it could optimize placement, reverse falling unit sales and strengthen its partner network.

Working with implementation partner SMART business and using Microsoft Azure, Dynamics NAV and Power BI fed by IoT sensors, Ecosoft now monitors every machine in real time and shares insights with partners. The data-driven approach delivered rapid results: 70% sales growth in the first years of IoT, a 30% reversal of declining unit sales, an 80% increase in dispensers across the network and at least $20,000 saved in IT costs.
