Donner & Reuschel makes it possible with Windows Virtual Desktop

Donner & Reuschel, a private bank, needed a more flexible and efficient way to support home office work and provide access for a large number of internal and external users. As part of its Microsoft 365 migration, the bank worked with Microsoft Azure and partners to move away from a struggling Citrix setup and adopt Azure Virtual Desktop.

Microsoft Azure helped Donner & Reuschel implement individualized virtual clients for administrators, developers, and standard users, all centrally managed and securely integrated with Intune. The bank reduced IT operating effort for testing, approvals, and client maintenance, improved performance and agility, and kept business running without backlogs during the COVID-19 disruption, including onboarding around 660 users for home office in just two days.
