Case Study: NTT Communications achieves a safe hybrid work environment with Microsoft Azure solutions

Developers create popular chatbot quickly using Microsoft Teams and RPA, boosting employee efficiency and morale

NTT Communications needed to create a safe hybrid work environment during the COVID-19 pandemic while responding to cyberattacks on its internal servers and moving toward Zero Trust security. Using Microsoft Azure services, including Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune, the company began migrating employee identities and device management from on-premises systems to the cloud.

Microsoft Azure helped NTT Communications centralize identity and device management for 40,000 “Secured PCs,” migrate 550 TB of files to OneDrive and SharePoint, and complete the move of 40,000 devices to Entra ID Join in four months. The result was stronger authentication, easier device administration, reduced operating labor and costs, faster issue response, and a more secure, user-friendly hybrid work environment.
