Daxko/CSI used Azure to accelerate its development cycle and to enhance its customer services and performance

CSI, a division of Daxko, provides the SpectrumNG enterprise software platform for fitness and recreation centers. Rapid customer growth strained its on-premises multitenant infrastructure: database provisioning and maintenance consumed increasing operations headcount, caused occasional timeouts during usage bursts, and diverted engineers from new features and mobility initiatives.

CSI migrated to Azure PaaS—using Azure SQL Database (elastic pools), Azure Storage, cloud services, and automated build/deploy scripts—so it could offload ops and scale dynamically. As a result, two operators now manage roughly 550–600 customer databases across four regions, customers no longer experience burst-related timeouts, QA and release cycles accelerate with cloud test parity, and freed engineering resources delivered new mobile and service-oriented features while using geo-replication to speed reporting and improve resilience.
