e-Share is a data-security startup that helps organizations securely share highly sensitive information with external partners. Faced with the challenge of protecting “crown-jewel” data while remaining easy to use and scalable, e-Share needed a cloud platform that offered transparent security, integration with customers’ Office 365 environments, SSO, geographic co-location for compliance, and a browser-first experience so recipients wouldn’t need extra software.

e-Share built its solution on Microsoft Azure and integrated with Office 365 and OneDrive to enable in-browser file viewing and editing, seamless SSO, and datacenter co-location for performance and regulatory compliance. Participation in the Microsoft Accelerator helped open business opportunities; the result is increased customer trust, expanded commercial and government business (handling PHI and ITAR data), and a scalable, easy-to-use cloud service that meets strict security requirements.
