Dodo Pizza, a technology-driven leader in Russia’s fast-growing pizza franchise market with 600+ locations, relied on its cloud-based Dodo IS to collect massive daily operational data and deliver real-time analytics. The company needed a way to interactively query, explore, and join structured and unstructured logs and events at scale, but its previous solution limited ingestion rates, slowed aggregations, and constrained growth.

By moving its logs and analytics to Azure Data Explorer (integrated with other Azure services), Dodo achieved a tenfold increase in ingestion—now ingesting about 1 TB/day versus 80–100 GB—while cutting costs by more than $6,000 per month. The platform delivered far faster, interactive queries and aggregations, reduced operational overhead through autoscaling, improved analyst productivity with Kusto Query Language, and added security and fraud-detection capabilities to support continued expansion.
