A Microsoft Azure Case Study

Preview of the Wonder Cement Case Study

Customer-first cement company builds a better foundation by connecting and scaling key business apps with Dynamics 365

Wonder Cement, one of India’s largest cement producers, needed a more resilient and data-driven supply chain as its operations grew more complex and remote work became necessary during COVID-19. The company had been using Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, but wanted to move to the cloud with Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 to reduce risk, improve visibility, and streamline business processes.

With support from EY India, Wonder Cement implemented Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and Dynamics 365 Finance on Microsoft Azure, along with Power BI analytics. Microsoft Azure helped enable major process improvements, better inventory visibility, simpler reporting, and consolidation of software costs, while Wonder Cement reported saving 80% to 85% of the time previously spent moving data from production systems to ERP.
