BAM Infra Nederland, working with OrangeNXT and Microsoft Azure, implemented an Azure-based system that uses 360-degree camera vehicles to capture road footage and algorithms to identify and classify damage. Microsoft Azure helped improve the speed, quality, and efficiency of inspections, enabling predictive asphalt maintenance, reducing costs, and supporting more frequent checks that can prevent small defects from becoming major road repairs and traffic disruptions.
