Case Study: CONIN achieves data-driven outreach and support for at-risk children with Microsoft Azure

CONIN finds, reaches and helps at-risk children through the cloud

CONIN (Fundación CONIN), a Mendoza-based nonprofit, works to eradicate child malnutrition and support disadvantaged families across Argentina. Constrained by paper-based surveys and limited visibility in remote regions like Salta, the organization needed a way to identify at-risk children, prioritize scarce resources and coordinate with government and partner organizations.

Using Microsoft Azure and Power BI, CONIN built a cloud-hosted app and mobile polling system that maps community needs, syncs field data in real time and triggers alerts for children who require services. The solution produces up-to-date visualizations for targeted interventions and public-policy planning, sped up outreach and case management (helping thousands and individual cases such as one child who received surgery and follow-up care), and is now being scaled to other provinces and partner nonprofits.
