SIA EPTRON is a fast-growing Latvian IT services company (founded 2010, 43 employees, offices in Latvia and the Benelux) that develops web, mobile and interactive B2B solutions. At launch the firm needed to minimize upfront IT infrastructure costs while retaining strong technical support, flexibility and stable hosting so developers could build competitive, scalable products without heavy capital investment.

EPTRON adopted Microsoft Azure as a homogeneous development and hosting platform, using Storage, SQL Database, Virtual Machines and App Services to build five of six core products and its Flowww interactive content solution (desktop app, CMS and API). The move eliminated server purchases and maintenance, enabled pay-as-you-go scaling, improved stability and development agility, lowered delivery costs for clients and positioned the company to expand functionality with Azure analytics and AI.
