Tesco Mobile, a leading MVNO in Europe serving over 400,000 customers in Ireland, needed to avoid outgrowing its IT infrastructure while meeting ambitious growth targets. The company required a digital transformation to upscale operations, improve customer experience and analytics, and speed transactions both online and in retail stores.
Client Solutions re-platformed Tesco Mobile’s customer-facing systems on Microsoft Azure and built the public portal my.tescomobile.ie, using Azure data platform services and a SQL-based analytics stack. The move delivered the scale, self-service and transparency Tesco Mobile needed, sped up analytical processing for faster decision-making, and enabled customer service, sales and management teams to better understand and improve the customer experience.
