Centrify chooses Azure to expedite development and data access for identity solutions

Centrify, a Santa Clara–based provider of end-user identity management and privileged-user security, needed a cloud platform that delivered enterprise-grade security, supported hybrid and mobile environments, and let its engineers move quickly without heavy infrastructure overhead. The company also had to ensure secure access to on‑premises identity repositories without opening inbound firewall ports or replicating credentials to the cloud.

Centrify built its Identity and Privilege services on Microsoft Azure PaaS, using Azure Service Bus Relay for secure hybrid connectivity, Azure Table Storage and Redis Cache for multi-tenant data and performance, and Traffic Manager for rapid failover. The result was faster development and time-to-market, reduced engineering and infrastructure costs, robust scalability for very large deployments, and a simpler platform for ongoing product innovation.
