Case Study: Stratiform achieves scalable growth and global reach with Microsoft Azure

A Microsoft Azure Case Study

Preview of the Stratiform Case Study

Building Businesses By Leveraging The Power & Flexibility Of The Microsoft Cloud

Stratiform is a Canadian Microsoft systems integrator (now ~40 professionals) that helps small and mid-size businesses modernize with Azure cloud services. Facing clients with costly legacy systems and data-residency concerns—most notably Travel Alberta—Stratiform needed a cloud-first, scalable approach to lower total cost of ownership, improve time-to-market, and expand global reach while maintaining trust and compliance.

Working with Microsoft, Stratiform built Azure-based solutions and proprietary IP using Azure Stack, autoscaling, CDN caching and rapid analytics deployment (e.g., Hadoop clusters in hours versus 2–4 weeks). The result: dramatically faster deployments (examples include cutting a 40‑hour job to 8 hours), lower costs through pay‑as‑you‑go consumption, seasonal auto‑scaling, improved global media delivery and real-time customer engagement—helping Travel Alberta become a true digital business and enabling Stratiform’s growth.
