Preview of the ATF Services Case Study

Building a new future: Transforming Australia’s construction industry with digital technologies

ATF Services, a leading Australian provider of construction‑site security, faced persistent theft, vandalism, and costly downtime across the construction industry and needed a low‑power, affordable surveillance solution that reduced false alarms and was easy to deploy. Working with software partner Two Bulls, the company set out to augment its successful solar camera lineup with rugged multisensor devices and a cloud platform to make site security accessible to contractors, homeowners, and other sectors.

Using Azure (Service Fabric, IoT Hub/IoT Edge) and the Sigfox low‑power network, ATF launched an intelligent wireless multisensor alarm and mobile app that delivers real‑time alerts, simplified installation, and centralized management. The scalable platform cut reliance on heavy back‑office support, reduced false alerts through multisensor fusion, opened new markets, and set the stage for future features such as predictive maintenance and broader IoT services.
