Boosting productivity of a mobile workforce with secure access to enterprise platforms

Bristow Group, a global leader in industrial aviation with about 5,000 employees, relies on a highly mobile workforce of pilots and support crews operating worldwide. The company needed to secure and simplify access to mission-critical systems (SAP, Workday, eFlight) across a complex hybrid IT environment, reduce multiple logons and administrative overhead, and meet compliance and identity-management requirements for remote users.

Working with Microsoft partners, Bristow deployed Azure Active Directory Premium, Azure AD Application Proxy and Azure AD Connect plus Azure App Service for web hosting. The solution provided single sign-on, multifactor and conditional access, secure remote access without VPN, and automated, scalable hosting. Results included centralized identity management, lower hosting and admin costs, improved security and productivity, and 85% employee adoption of self-service password reset—reducing help‑desk tickets and speeding access to enterprise apps.
